Oldest tree in South Carolina!

For the last few years, I have been exploring New Mexico, California, and some of their surrounding states. With that said, it dawned on me that I haven’t truly explored my own birth state (South Carolina).

Now that I’m home for a short period of time, I decided to Google points of interest in South Carolina, oldest church, & etc. During those searches, the oldest tree info came up and peaked my interest.

This is an Angel Oak tree located in Johns Island but often credited to be in Charleston, SC. It’s estimated to be close to 500 years old (some say older) and have branches that stretches over 150ft.

This is one of many places that I have visited while being back in SC and I look forward to sharing them all with you later in the near future. Enjoy the video below and thanks for viewing!
